Celts

The Celts were a people coming from the Northern Europe and they spoke a vaguely common language. They were nomad hunters and farmers and they had red hair, blue eyes; they also were tall and sometimes they tattoed their bodies with colorful tattoes. They wore coloured shirts, with trousers called bracae, that were heavy in winter and light in summer. The Celts lived on hile tops in round huts and they would light a fire in the middle of them for cooking and heating. In addition there was a hole in the roof to let the smoke go out (from the fire). The Celts woeship nature and they believed in many gods, but the most important were Sucellos, the sky god, and Nodens, who made clouds and rain. Their traditions were orally transmitted throuh the years by Druids.
